I can not wait for those warm summer days after spending a long day at the beach playing in the water and sand. What I can wait for are the damp sand filled towels that I have to drag through my house to lay out and dry. Diane from Our Vintage Home Love came up with the perfect way to add some fun color to her porch area, and create a functional piece that solves that exact issue. She created this beautiful Vintage Faucet Handle Towel Rack by repurposing all old items.
Using reclaimed wood (a personal favorite), old faucet handles (adding a hint of industrial decor, another personal favorite) and a few cans of spray paint, Diane now has a spot to hang and dry all her towels from those sometimes messy summer days. I love the idea of hanging a bucket full of flowers from one of the knobs too! Function and fashionable? It’s the perfect repurposed DIY project and has made its way on to my to-do list for our patio area.
