Jenna Thompson of Small Bird Handcrafted Jewelry, created this Christmas Felted Garland using handmade colored wool balls strung by a twine-colored yarn. What a delicate and cheerful way to dress a fireplace. To see the tutorial, visit Jessica where she wrote a guest post on papernstitch and shared this creative do-it-yourself project.
Carrie of 221 Vision created this handmade whimsical Fabric Garland using scraps of colorful and fun fabrics. Leaving the frayed edges, she tied the fabric strips to a string of twine, and hung it from her mantel with other seasonal favorites. To learn more, visit Carrie at 221 Vision.
Ashley of Little Bit Creations made this beautiful Fabric Chain Garland to embellish her Christmas tree. Using leftover, colorful fabric scraps, Ashley folded over the fabric, added a piece of velcro at the end, and linked the rings together to create her garland chain. I LOVE that first garland up top made with the colorful wool balls. It’s really similar to the garland my wife and I made this year with leftover wrapping paper. By the way, I found your site through Decor Hacks post on FaceBook and I’ve been taking it all in. Cool stuff!
Thanks Kevin for visiting Daily Do It Yourself! I’m so glad to meet new followers. I can’t wait to check out your site. xo Jenna
